About this journey
A one-off Mediterranean surf mission hosted by professional surfer and YouTuber Ben Gravy. Seven nights on the wild eastern edge of Mallorca, chasing novelty waves the way local surfers do — 4×4s loaded up each morning, driving to whichever corner of the island is firing.
Think secret reefs, tucked-away points, wind-swell wedges and coves that most travellers walk straight past. September is a sweet spot for Mallorca: warm 24–26°C water, thinning crowds, and the first autumn swells pushing purposefully into the Med.
Base is the adults-only Canyamel Park Hotel & Spa, tucked into pine forests above Cala Canyamel. Days: surf missions with Ben and the local crew. Evenings: long Mediterranean dinners, hilltop views, and the spa. A genuine hosted departure — small group, big adventure, and every detail operated by PURE ONE Travel.
This is a novelty-wave trip. Some days the Mediterranean delivers, some days it doesn't — and on flat days the 4×4s become a scouting tool: hidden coves, dramatic viewpoints, secret swimming spots and dusty tracks to corners of the island you'd never find on your own.
Please note: this is a surfers-only departure. You must be a confident surfer and bring your own equipment — boards and wetsuit. No hire is provided on this trip.

Arrive Palma · transfer to Canyamel
Friday 17 September 2027. Fly into Palma de Mallorca Airport (PMI) and enjoy a private transfer through the pine-covered hills to Canyamel Park Hotel & Spa. Settle into your Premium Double Room, meet Ben and the crew, and gather for a welcome dinner at the hotel.
Novelty-wave missions with Ben Gravy
Each morning the crew reads wind, swell and forecast, then loads the 4×4s and drives to whichever corner of Mallorca is firing — sometimes Canyamel out the front, sometimes a rocky point an hour away, sometimes a dusty track to a wave nobody has named.
Between sessions expect long Mediterranean lunches in tucked-away villages, cliffside walks above Cala Canyamel, and time to explore the medieval hilltop town of Artà or the dramatic Caves of Drach. Evenings return to the hotel spa and dinner as a group.
Final session · transfer to Palma
Friday 24 September 2027. Squeeze in a dawn session if conditions allow, then a private return transfer to Palma de Mallorca Airport (PMI) for onward flights home.

Canyamel Park Hotel & Spa — adults-only 16+, tucked into pine forests just above Cala Canyamel on Mallorca's quieter east coast.
Premium Double Rooms (new for 2024): 28m² of interior plus a 7m² private balcony, two 2×1m beds convertible into a large 2×2m double, spacious bathroom with twin sinks and separate toilet, air conditioning, 50" Smart TV, minibar, Nespresso machine, safe, desk, Wi-Fi and a complimentary beach towel.
