On your final day, enjoy some leisure time before your transfer to Tirana Airport. After breakfast we set off from your hotel in Tirana at 8.30 am, we journey to the coastal city of Durres, where culture and nature intertwine beautifully. Explore the ancient amphitheatre, once home to thrilling gladiator battles, and enjoy a walking tour around the city’s key sights, including the city walls, Venetian tower, and a relaxing stroll along the promenade. Next, we continue to Berat, a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 2008, where history comes alive. Visit the impressive castle and the Onufri Museum, while marvelling at the city’s collection of ancient Orthodox churches. The picturesque Mangalem neighbourhood, with its white-walled houses cascading down the hillside, offers stunning views of its counterpart, Gorica, across the valley.

You may choose to savour a traditional lunch in Berat (at your own expense) before we embark on a scenic drive to the tranquil Lake of Belsh, where we’ll take a break to enjoy a coffee by its serene shores. As the day winds down, we return to Tirana, where you’ll spend the night in comfort at Hotel.

After breakfast at 9 am, meet your guide at the hotel for a scenic drive to the historic town of Kruja. Upon arrival, step back in time as you explore the charming streets of Kruja, beginning with a visit to the Old Bazaar, a 17th-century marketplace once bustling with artisans crafting leather, silk, and more. Next, discover the fascinating Kruja Castle, home to the National Skanderbeg Museum and the Ethnographic Museum, offering a deep dive into Albania’s proud heritage and daily life.

At midday, enjoy some free time for lunch before we depart at 1:30 pm for Shkodër, a captivating city set on the shores of Lake Shkodra. Relax and soak up the breathtaking scenery on the way. Upon arrival, explore the ancient ruins of Rozafa Castle, steeped in history dating back to the 4th century BCE, with legends that only add to its intrigue. Afterwards, enjoy a leisurely walking tour through Shkodër’s old town, visiting landmarks such as the Catholic Cathedral. At 5:30 pm, we set off on the two-hour drive back to Tirana, where you’ll return to the comfort of your hotel.

After breakfast, enjoy some free time at your leisure to relax or explore a little more of Tirana. When you’re ready, meet with your private driver for a comfortable transfer to Tirana Airport, ensuring a smooth end to your Albanian adventure.
