Embark on an unforgettable 14-day adventure through the untamed beauty of Namibia with Pure One Travel, where you will explore the country’s iconic landscapes and hidden gems, from the towering dunes of Sossusvlei to the rugged wilderness of the Skeleton Coast. This carefully curated itinerary showcases the best of Namibia, blending well-known highlights with off-the-beaten-path experiences, all while offering the luxury of traveling by private charter flights between destinations. Unlike traditional Namibia tours, this journey takes you to some of the country’s most unique and remote lodges, each offering an extraordinary connection to Namibia’s awe-inspiring nature and wildlife. With special properties chosen for their remarkable locations and distinctive features, every moment of this journey promises to be as unique as the country itself.
The adventure begins at Kwessi Dunes, nestled in the heart of the NamibRand Nature Reserve, one of the world’s most remote and pristine locations. This extraordinary reserve is Africa’s first International Dark Sky Reserve, offering unparalleled opportunities for stargazing in one of the least light-polluted areas on the planet. Guests at Kwessi Dunes will enjoy the unique privilege of staying in rooms that come with a separate ‘star gazer’ area, an open-air space perfect for witnessing the dazzling night sky filled with constellations and shooting stars. The vast desert landscape around the lodge is a haven for solitude, and the quiet of the NamibRand offers the perfect start to a journey through Namibia’s natural wonders.
Next, your journey continues to the Desert Rhino Camp in the heart of Damaraland, a truly special place that combines luxury with conservation. Once a field station dedicated to the protection of Namibia’s last wild black rhinos, this camp allows guests to experience a safari that is deeply rooted in community and conservation efforts. With the chance to spot one of the world’s last free-roaming black rhinos, this stop is both a thrilling wildlife experience and a meaningful contribution to the ongoing fight for the survival of these magnificent creatures. The connection between the wildlife, the landscape, and the local community is at the heart of every moment spent at Desert Rhino Camp, making it one of the most memorable parts of this journey.
This is Namibia
Spanning an area of 172,200 hectares and encompassing four distinct ecosystems, the Namib Rand Reserve is among the largest privately owned game parks in Southern Africa. Founded to conserve the unique environment and wildlife species of the south-western Namib Desert, the park’s mix of dunes, mountains, rocky outcrops, sandy flats and gravel plains provides habitats for a diversity of mammals – including hyenas, jackals, foxes, antelopes and various wild cats – as well as a plethora of bird species, reptiles, insects, frogs and flora. Visitors can discover the mysterious ‘fairy circles’, which dot the landscape and sip on sundowners while watching the sunset over this unspoilt ancient landscape. Having been named Africa’s first International Dark Sky Reserve, it is one of the least light-polluted areas in the world, so don’t miss this excellent star gazing opportunity.
Day 1 to 3 – KWESSI DUNES • NAMIBRAND NATURE RESERVE
Upon arrival, custom clearance and picking up your luggage you will be greeted by the representative of your charter airline and accompanied to your charter flight, which takes you directly into NamibRand Nature Reserve.
Your Namibia adventure starts in the famous Sossusvlei with its iconic red Sandunes and the Deadvlei. You will explore this beautiful region on daily scheduled activities under the guidance of experienced guides and have ample time to relax and take in the beauty of the desert in between the activities, may it be in the privacy your chalet or cooling of in the pool.
Your bedroom has a separate ‘star gazer’ room, completely open to the sky, and the perfect spot from which to watch the amazing star-studded night sky.
Day 4 to 6 – WILDERNESS DESERT RHINO CAMP • PALMWAG

Day 7 – 8 – SHIPWRECK LODGE • SKELETON COAST
Depart by charter flight to the Skeleton Coast. Your lodges is the only accommodation facility located on the desolate and world-renowned Skeleton Coast. The lodge and cabins are one-of-a-kind in the world, resembling the stranded ships that litter the shores and waters of this coastline. Broken spars reach for skies, and the wooden structures appear to be lying in the ever-encroaching sands of the desert.
The history of the Skeleton Coast is harsh and dramatic, and as you traverse these shores, you can imagine why the Portuguese sailors of old dubbed it “The Gates of Hell”. Over a thousand wrecks scatter the coastline, but only a few are visible to us, slowly breaking up or rusting away under the relentless assault of sea mists and saltwater over the years.
You will explore this region on daily scheduled activities under the guidance of experienced guides and have ample time to relax in between the activities.
Day 9 – 11 – ONGUMA TENTED CAMP • ONGUMA GAME RESERVE

Onguma Tented Camp is a beguiling mixture of sophistication and relaxation, of elegance and the earth. In the local Herero language, Onguma means, “the place you don’t want to leave.” The surrounding nature lends itself to long lazy afternoons, spent relaxing on the sofas in the lounge, watching the animals come and go. And when things heat up, all that is required is a gentle stroll to the rim flow pool. Sit and relax in the flowing waters while enjoying an ice cold cooler.
Enjoy a private bush dinner under the stars on one evening during your stay.
You will explore this region on daily scheduled activities under the guidance of experienced guides and have ample time to relax in between the activities.
