Day 1
Upon landing at Marrakech Menara Airport, you’ll be greeted by your driver and then transfer to your hotel, check-in and overnight at your hotel.
Day 2
Breakfast on board – You will start a historical visit of the principal monuments of Marrakech known as “The Pearl of South”. You will visit the famous Koutoubia, a demonstration of Hispano-Moorish art that has a 70m minaret; it’s an architectural masterpiece showing the remarkable design of the period. The Bahia palace decorated with exceptional cedar wood.
Later visit of the Souks sources of temptations, regrouping different works and business: Cabinet makers, ironware merchants, boiler makers. Then the visit continues to the famous Jamâa El fna square known to be a place of public execution until last century. Today it provides constant ever-changing entertainment, which is more alive in the sunset and continues late in the night. The square is centre for public meetings and even riots, where story tellers, snake charmers, acrobats, folkloric bands, etc… are operating daily. You will also enjoy 1 hour Hammam and Massage at Les Bains de Marrakech.
Day 3
After breakfast, departure to Ouarzazate throught Tizi N’Tichka road passing by Telouet. Arrive to Ouarzazate and visit of Kasbah Taourirt, a magnificent structure, built by the Glaoui. At one point in the 1930’s, Kasbah Taourirt was considered the largest Kasbah in Morocco and today is classified as a historical monument giving tribute to the Glaoui. Check-in, dinner and overnight.
Day 4
Breakfast at hotel then departure to Erfoud passing by Todra gorges one of the most spectacular landscapes that can be visited in Morocco, two rock formations famous all over the world with tourists and climbing enthusiasts. In the middle of the High Atlas Mountains, on the edge of the desert, the chasms seem to split the mountain in two, as if the Earth itself were indicating that the road to the south of Morocco is that way, with a landscape reminiscent of the Grand Canyon. Continue to Erfoud, your 4×4 vehicle will be waiting for you in Erfoud for your transfer to your desert camp in Merzouga desert, a wonderful experience through the desert dunes. Admire the sunset during a camel ride. Dinner and overnight at the camp.
Day 5
Breakfast at the camp – Early morning awakening to assist the sunrise. Quad Bike Safari trip through the Merzouga desert villages to discover the ancient way of life of locals. Visit of Khettarate (ancient irrigation system) and visit of Nomads. Visit of fossils workshops. Return back to the camp and enjoy the rest of the evening.
Day 6
Breakfast at the camp. Return to Erfoud and recover your vehicle. Departure to Skoura passing by Dades valley. Its source in the High Atlas has dug some of Morocco’s most spectacular canyons. The heart of the valley is a haven of freshness and surprising landscapes inhabited by incredibly welcoming people. Arrive to Skoura, visit of Kasbah Amridil. It has lasted for several centuries, thanks to the tenacity of the owner family, who never abandoned this Amazigh architectural treasure. dinner and overnight.
Day 7
Breakfast at hotel and then departure to Ait Benhaddou. Visit of Ait Benhaddou kasbah. The fortified village of Aït Benhaddou has been classified by UNESCO as one of the world’s cultural treasures. It is studded with crenulated towers and its buildings decorated with geometrical motifs and considered to be one of the most beautiful villages of this kind in Morocco, It is the most spectacular fortress in the south of Morocco, used as decors for many films as well like the “Lawrence of Arabia”. Continue to Marrakech. Arrive, dinner and overnight at your hotel.
Day 8
Breakfast at hotel – transfer to Marrakech Airport for your final departure.
