Day 1
Arrive at Dubrovnik Airport, where your private driver will greet you and transfer you to your hotel. Enjoy the scenic coastline views, spotting Dubrovnik’s iconic terracotta rooftops and the Adriatic Sea. Spend your first evening exploring Dubrovnik at your leisure, perhaps strolling along the Lapad Promenade or enjoying Croatian wine while watching the sunset.
Day 2
Begin your exploration of Dubrovnik’s Old Town with a private guide. Wander through the UNESCO World Heritage Site, learning about the city’s medieval history, Venetian influence, and Renaissance artistry. Visit the Rector’s Palace, once the seat of power, and the Franciscan Monastery, where a 12th-century pharmacy still operates today.
Continue with a walk along Dubrovnik’s City Walls, taking in panoramic views of the Adriatic Sea and Lokrum Island. These impressive fortifications date back to between the 12th and 17th centuries. The rest of the day is yours to explore more of the city, whether you prefer wandering through hidden alleys, visiting local artisan shops, or dining with a view of the illuminated Old Town.
Day 3
Enjoy your morning at leisure. Then journey to the breathtaking Konavle region, a hidden gem often called the “Tuscany of southern Croatia,” with its lush vineyards, olive groves, and rolling hills stretching toward the horizon. At a charming family-owned winery, you’ll be warmly welcomed to sample a selection of exquisite local wines, including the rich and bold Plavac Mali, crafted from sun-drenched grapes. Your hosts will share fascinating insights into the art of winemaking in both the region and across Croatia, while the resident oenologist expertly guides you through each tasting, revealing the unique characteristics of every glass.
Then, immerse yourself in Konavle’s silk tradition at a local silk atelier where traditional Konavle embroidery and silk production are kept alive. Here, you’ll see how silkworms are raised from March to November and observe the traditional process of silk thread production, just as it has been done for centuries. The atelier also showcases a rich collection of handcrafted textiles representing Konavle’s cultural heritage. During your visit, indulge in delicious regional delicacies, each bite and sip reflecting the flavors of the land.
Return to Dubrovnik, where the evening is yours to enjoy at your leisure, whether by the sea or dining at a restaurant in the Old Town.
